NORTHWEST REGIONAL LIBRARY

Coral Springs, Florida

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

The construction of this new two story, 72,000 square foot library began with the partial demolition of the existing Coral Springs Mall. Once the demolition was completed, construction of the proposed Library structure began within inches of the remaining portions of the mall which had been previously converted to the Coral Springs Charter School.

The structure consists of a complete concrete structure including roof. The exterior skin is constructed of architectural radius precast panels and glass curtain wall system.

James B. Pirtle Construction Co., Inc. built the structure utilizing the fast track approach which enabled the architect to complete the interior design and finishes at the same time the structure was being built.
