DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
North
Lauderdale Academy High is a charter high school for the City
of North Lauderdale. This 76,000 SF project is a 740-student high
school on a very restricted site with ongoing municipal operations.
The project includes a 3-story classroom building and a separate
gymnasium building. The project was completed with design-build
components under a fast-track delivery method with three phased
packages. Built and designed within a year, half the time and
cost of a public school, the North Lauderdale Academy achieved
an incredible educational value with media center, kitchen, and
gymnasium amenities. This very cost effective school was groundbreaking
in many regards. The classrooms are all state of the art, with
computer driven networks and very focused on providing the fundamentals
to make sure students have a strong grasp of the necessary education.
