Description:
Direct the daily progress of the work and supervise all construction field activities and personnel. Report to, and carry out the direction of the Project Manager with respect to field operations. Continually work to assure adequate staffing of the jobsite work force, sufficient supply of materials, and complete information necessary to assemble the product. Coordinate construction activities sufficiently enough in advance so as not to interfere with the progress of any one component of the project. General duties include generating, or otherwise confirming all information needed to create, monitor, and modify the progress schedule on a continuing basis. Working with the Project Manager to develop and administer the site utilization program, site services, safety plan and security arrangements necessary for the project. Monitoring actual versus required performance by all parties and determining whether subcontractors are providing sufficient work force and hours of work to achieve performance commitments. Being thoroughly familiar with the requirements of the general contract, thereby identifying changes and conflicts that are beyond the scope of responsibility. Ensuring that all field work is being performed with a high standard of quality in a safe and efficient manner.
