Manager Position:
Description:
Responsible
for the complete and satisfactory execution of each assigned
project. Act as the company representative by establishing and
maintaining relationships with the Owner, design professionals,
subcontractors, building officials, local businesses, and police
and fire departments. General duties include assisting in development
of the project staff. Coordinating on-site with corporate office
activities. Organizing and overseeing jobsite administration.
Organizing and coordinating field supervision and identifying
and resolving construction field conflicts. Assisting in the
procurement of subcontractors and suppliers. Developing, monitoring,
updating, and communicating the progress schedule and its periodic
revisions. Managing subcontractor schedules, quality-of-work,
safety, coordination with other trades, and payments. Coordinating
cost-progress targets with actual production. Overseeing the
submission of all Owner payment requisitions and change orders.
Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and secure jobsite environment.
Requirements:
Minimum
of 5 years previous project management experience. Must have a college degree in related field. Must be competent in the use of construction specific scheduling, estimating and
management software. Must have a clear understanding of the
construction process and hands on experience managing projects
with budgets between $5 million and $100 million. Must be able to create an effective team for efficient job performance. Must demonstrate experience with value engineering and fast-tracked projects. Experience with municipal and government owners is a plus.
